What is a domain name?
A domain name is the address that people use to find you or your business on-line, the domain name is what they type into the the browsers address bar to go to a specific website. For example www.csnewmedia.co.uk or www.google.co.uk are examples of domain names.
Transferring domain names to CS New Media
If you have registered a domain name with another provider (often known as the "registrar") you can transfer this domain to CS New Media. This will allow you manage your domain name via the CS New Media client area and carry out actions such as renewals and update your domain contact information.
.UK domains such as .co.uk can be transferred to us free of charge, however for any other domains there is a small charge outlined on our domain pricing page. However an extra 1 year renewal will be added onto your domain. To transfer a domain simply search for your domain using the domain availability lookup tool.
Domain Ownership & Hidden Charges
Many providers register clients domain names in their own company details making it very difficult to transfer them away, at CS New Media we do not do this each domain registered through us is registered in your own details allowing you to transfer your domain away easily at no additional cost.
